In addition to the cartridge specifications the barrel length is indicated.
With the calibres of the RWS rifle cartridges it usually is 600 mm.
When the barrel length of the rifle is already a few mm shorter or longer than the indicated value, the velocity decreases or increases accordingly with standard calibres.
With high-performance cartridges this value can fluctuate up to 20 m/s.
Whereas it is taken as a basis that the scope is mounted in a way that the distance between the line of sight and the axis of the bore is 5 cm.
The positive values signify a high shot, the negative a low shot.
